Silvergenie

Silvergenie provides elder care services for seniors in India whose children live abroad. The platform offers a range of services — medical assistance, daily care, emergency support, and companionship — all coordinated remotely by family members. I was responsible for designing the mobile app, integrating all their services including plans and pricing into a single user-friendly interface.

The core tension was designing for two very different users simultaneously: elderly parents who needed simplicity, large touch targets, and minimal cognitive load — and their adult children abroad who needed visibility, control, and confidence that their parents were being cared for. Consolidating multiple service categories, pricing plans, and booking flows without overwhelming either audience was the central design challenge.

Designed a clean, high-contrast mobile UI with large touch targets and simplified navigation for elderly users. Consolidated all service categories, care plans, and pricing into a structured, browsable interface. Built clear booking flows for caregiver scheduling and service requests. Ensured the family-facing experience surfaced status and activity clearly without requiring constant calls.
